Pictures of birds that I took

(There are some videos, too)

I don't have the best camera for taking pictures of birds but here are a few pics/videos I took:

A ruby-throated hummingbird drinks out of a hummingbird feeder.
I just recently moved and put a hummingbird feeder right by my kitchen window and hummingbirds have been coming to visit it every day (usually multiple times). It's really special for me to see them because I didn't get a lot of hummingbirds at my last place (where I was living when I first started birdwatching) so this is really the first time I'm seeing them up close like this.

A large group of sparrows rest next to each other on top of a wooden fence.
Buncha sparrows sitting on my fence. I guess they are social because I see them in big groups like this a lot. I think it's cute to see them all hanging out together.

A great blue heron perched on a fallen tree that is sticking out of a lake. The scene consists of many bare tree branches overlapping each other.

A Pileated Woodpecker rests on some bare branches that have dried berries scattered amongst them.
Pileated Woodpecker. They are really pretty striking to see because they are HUGE! They typically range from 16-19 inches long.

Three mourning doves stand on top of a black car.

A pair of Mallard ducks eat bird seed that has fallen on the ground beneath a bird feeder that is hanging from a branch.
This pair of Mallards hop the fence at my mom's house sometimes to eat birdseed that has fallen out of her birdfeeder. I think it's adorable.

A male house finch perched on a bird feeder attached to a window.

A bald eagle perched on some branches at the top of a very tall, bare tree.
You can't tell but that's a bald eagle.

Scene of a river during wintertime. Far off in the distance, there is a group of Bufflehead ducks swimming in the water.
You can't tell but those are Buffleheads.

One time, I left a bowl of water outside for my dog and forgot about it and when I later went to leave the house, I saw that birds were drinking out of the water bowl and using it as a birdbath. I just stood by the door taking videos of them with my phone until they were done.

A squirrel was involved, as well.
